A strong partnership serving hybrid power
CRE Technology x Protective Power Systems & Controls
Protective Power Systems & Controls (PPSC) is an independent company founded in 2002 in Staatsburg, New York. Specializing in industrial power solutions, it designs and supplies power generation, distribution and control systems for critical sectors such as healthcare, education and wastewater management, as well as for data centers and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructures.
Recognized for its technical expertise and UL 508A certification, PPSC is committed to providing reliable solutions tailored to its customers' specific needs. The company is also certified as a " Women-Owned Business ".
We are fortunate to be able to count on a worldwide network of experienced distributors. For several months now, we have had the pleasure of developing a partnership CRE Technology x PPSC, now the official distributor of our solutions in the United States. A collaboration based on common values and a shared technological vision.
We are also proud to point out that PPSC is owned by John Patierno and Andrea Patierno, whose long-standing experience and involvement reinforce this collaboration.

1. A collaboration based on performance and responsiveness
PPSC's decision to join the CRE Technology network was based on several key criteria. First and foremost, the quality and robustness of our products, which comply with UL and CSA standards, essential for the North American market.
PPSC was also won over by our i4Gen Suite software, our centralized platform for simplified programming, configuration and supervision of hybrid systems integrating gensets, inverters, battery storage and utility grids.
Designed to meet the demands of the field, the i4Gen Suite incorporates advanced features such as voltage and speed auto-tuning, making commissioning easier while guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
For PPSC, it's a powerful and intuitive tool, perfectly suited to their design and integration needs.
2. Successful initial field tests
The PPSC teams quickly began testing and integrating CRE Technology solutions into their projects. Several controller models were commissioned and configured using the i4Gen Suite. Initial feedback has been clear: the products are very robust, easy to program, and rated A+++ by their engineers.
A concrete example: a project in the state of Massachusetts. PPSC plans to replace an old TSC 900 with an AMF controller from CRE Technology, as part of a Auto Mains Failure (AMF) Application.
3. A vision focused on microgrids and standardization
PPSC is not only integrating our solutions into its internal projects, but also plans to offer our technologies to other engineers and workshops to help them standardize their installations with CRE Technology solutions.
Their ambitions do not stop there: PPSC also aims to develop more complex projects around microgrids by integrating the control of battery storage, inverters, and reactive power (kW and kVAr).
PPSC will soon launch a new range of switchgear designed to integrate our controllers as standard. With the imminent UL 508A certification, these panels will be offered in packaged versions, relying on the reliability and performance of our solutions.
4. A Dynamic Partnership
With the aim of transferring skills and ensuring local proximity, PPSC will also offer technical training sessions at its premises, in partnership with CRE Technology. With a suitable conference room, they will be able to accommodate integrators and technicians wishing to improve their skills on our solutions.
With increasing orders, projects under deployment, and an excellent perception of our products and technical support, PPSC is already establishing itself as a key player in our North American network.
The relationship between CRE Technology and Protective Power Systems & Controls perfectly reflects our vision of partnership: solid skills in the field, a desire for innovation, and a shared commitment to sustainable and efficient solutions.
By integrating our i4Gen Suite platform, our controllers, and our supervision tools, PPSC is strengthening its offering and helping to disseminate cutting-edge technologies for hybrid and smart energy.
